2025 O’Fallon Municipal Election Candidate Forums

Twenty candidates running for contested offices in the upcoming local elections have been invited to participate in Candidate Forums. Please attend one or both of these events to help you form your choices for the April 1st, 2025 election.
During the Candidate Forum, voters may meet the candidates to learn why they are running for office and how they believe they can improve O’Fallon if elected.
Following the candidate’s prepared remarks, they will answer questions posed by you at these events.
The first Candidate Forum will take place March 1st, 2025, 2-4 pm, at

The second Candidate Forum is scheduled for March 8th, 2025, 2-4 pm, at

The contested offices in O’Fallon Township include:
Township Clerk (candidates Gary Hursey, Nicholas Downs, and Judith Burger)
Township Highway Commissioner (candidates Frank Morski and Gerald Helldoerfer)
The contested offices in O’Fallon City include:
City Clerk (candidates Jerry Mouser and Opal Caroline Malare)
City Treasurer (candidates David Hursey and Ronald Zelms)
Ward 3 Alderman (candidates Roy Carney and Vern Malare)
Four positions are contested on the O’Fallon District 90 Board of Education.
Candidates include David Cobb, Adam Weber, Jasen Foster, Laura Jacobi Van Hook, Scott Underwood, Ankur Patel, Mary Lynam-Miller, Emily Sackett, and Darrick Maupins.
